Journals - Yes.. Forgot that one.. IFM uses them.. MAPICS has an arichtecture for journals as well.. If you are accessing data from MAPICS from say, SQL server, you need to journal your file to allow updates. If you are using the MAPICS workflow application, you need journals to update files. No referntial integretity is shipped with MAPICS. -----Original Message----- From: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Pete Olshavsky Sent: Wed 6/30/2004 2:48 PM To: MAPICS ERP System Discussion Cc: Subject: Re: MAPICS newbie questions DALE, R6 has a physical file called TRGMST.. IF to Mapics from what? Pete I Dan Bale <dbale@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Does MAPICS XA ship with any *PF triggers, journaling, and/or referential constraints? Was MAPICS XA developed in Synon? If yes to the last question, does MAPICS XA ship with some kind of development tool, similar to what I recall JDEdwards World (green screen) had? Preparing for the migration...
