Robert,

We do not have multiple sites... yet. More than the files mismatching, what
this proves is that when creating a purchase order, the program is pulling
data from ITEMASC vs ITMRVC even when EPDM is installed and that is a very
bad thing.

Do you have multiple sites? If so the value in ITEMASC will match the site
the item revision was released from. Changes to the Released Item Revision
are "supposed" to be automatically updated to the Item Master.

MAPICS Listers...

We have EPDM installed and just found our ITEMASC field RECRQ does not match
our ITMRVC field RECRQ. This gets copied into the PO and used by IFM for
3-way matching. We don't know exactly what caused the fields to be out of
synch, but have fixed ITMRVC with an offline load (which took @4 hours...
that is another issue), and wrote a program to read POITEM and check ITMRVC
for the correct RECRQ value, then update POITEM. If you have EPDM, you may
want to check your data with queries... We are going to monitor the files
for a while to see what happens.
