William, F/A has a budget identifier (or code) that lets you have multiple budgets. This lets you budget future expenses to the accounts that you are currently using. You can use only ONE budget for variance reporting purposes in F/A. This means that you have to use F/A's procedures to select and "promote" the budget that you want to use for variance reporting. We are having a hard time. We have worked with MAPICS support and have not gotten any help. I would like to know if anyone is using F/A for budgeting. If so, would it be ok to call and ask some questions. Example of question: Can we use the current years account for budgeting? > > Thanks, > William Moore > California Fine Wire > 805-489-5144 > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l > or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l. > >
