Bonnie,
A loooong time ago we ran into the need for this. How we handled it was
that we pulled the COM pick list generation and moved it to an end-of-order
user exit, then made the pick list generation a standalone CL. At the
time, that was the best solution I could come up with. I would think there
is a better way today, but I've just left it that way since it works and is
very flexible. That handles all COM pick lists, no matter where they are
generated from.

We have a need to generate pick lists for an existing order
from a scheduled batch job rather than from the interactive interface.
I've tried doing offline maintenance to desired order setting position 15
of parm 2 to a '1'. The offline order maintenance prints on the 'Accepted
Transactions' report but I get no pick list.
The report has note: Transaction . . . . . : 0 No change
My maintenance record (MBG8CPP only) has all the required fields completed
and a maintenance reason code set. Putting a value in one of the
user defined fields that we don't use gives us the same results.
New orders loaded with the parm position 15 set to '1' do generate pick
lists.
Is anyone using Offline order maintenance to generate a pick?
We are at XAR6 PTF 4140 and do not use the offline shipping enhancement.
Thanks,
