I think the easiest method would be to have an electrician mount a photoswitch near where the paper comes out or in the tray, depending on printer type. They could adjust it to turn on when there's paper present and off when there's not. You could use it to power a light or bell or whatever. -----Original Message----- From: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of meyno Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2004 3:44 PM To: MAPICS-L SUBMIT Subject: A Blue light special Has anyone attached a light (a flashing Blue light, or anything) to a printer so it would turn on when the printer has printed, and then goes off when the paper is removed? Could be a buzzer. _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
