Joe, We didn't find anything that was acceptable to us at the time (1998), so we just wrote our own. Not the answer I wish I could give you, but...... I did look at WCFIELDS, at the time it didn't cover everything we needed - don't know about now. I also know that Syteline has a field service module that will (most likely) be ported or interfaced directly to MAPICS/XA. I looked at it at the last MUC, it looked quite sophisticated and would actually cover what we needed, but we already have written our own (specifically tailored to our requirements - tough to beat that). We are looking to improve our process with more integration with MAPICS COM. I am familiar with the MAPICS field service, but it seems a bit overkill with it's pre-reqs for CSM, Integrator and IFM. _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
