We're using the GUI version, the time seems to be involved in pulling lists,
not the GUI side.

Larry,

Are you using the GUI MDCC or the green screen version? We use the green
screen version and while it isn't sub-second it really performs well
(1-2 seconds perhaps during peak loads).
