Wil,
Is the trigger an Insert or Update event?  If it is an Update and a program
reading MOROUT is updating MOMAST, then the trigger is trying to update
MOROUT again.  The MOROUT record may still be in use by the original program
which start the trigger process.  A little confusing but...
