   Not at all a dumb question.&n= bsp; The Planner Number exists in a
   separate file only if you have the OBPM= application installed.
   Otherwise, the planner number is a field (une= dited) in the Item Plan
   file, accessible for maintenance through Item Balan= ce maintenance or
   PDM+ Item Warehouses.

   Buyer nu= mber, on the other hand, is a different field altogether, and
   possibly the = one you were actually asking about.  It is stored in the
   BUYERF file a= nd I believe that file exists only if Purchasing is
   installed.  It is = maintainable via Purchasing File Maintenance.  The
   buyer is edited whe= n entered on Item Revision C (EPDM) or Item Master C
   (PDM) or PDM+ Items.</= DIV>
