Peter, Very strange but there may be two areas to look at. First check and see if MUI needs a refresh. CPF4182 can be caused by MUI and its file interception. I would imagine this would only be an issue if you can from V4R5 rather than V5R1. Second, check your security level, should be 30. Third, check ownership of all the involved objects, the file, program, display etc. Sometimes that gets tweaked in system upgrades. Fourth, check the V5R2 apars info on IBM. Final question? Powerbuilder or Green Screen? Don't know why QZDASOINIT would have it otherwise. Not much but hope it helps.
