Michael, I think a "user posting" website would be a great idea. As you may know, I keep a small one out there with some tips and sample source code listings for stuff we've done with MAPICS that has really paid off (Offline Shipping and a fast refresh CL for a test environment) - I'll be putting some new stuff on it shortly for some helpful additions to Purchasing (Vendor Acknowledgement reminders and a vendor item expediting request form) that have saves us (literally) 3-4 man days per week. However, people don't know about it unless they ask me. I think an "official" web site would be very cool - especially if it was organized by application. If you want to look at mine, go to http://www.fft-inc.com/offship.html - I'll bet you can't guess what was first out there! :) Dale @ Fleetwood Folding Trailers michael.ellis@xxxx nternet.com To: mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: cc: mapics-l-bounces@x Subject: Re: Website for MAPICS users idrange.com 05/30/03 12:36 PM Please respond to MAPICS ERP System Discussion Konrad made a great suggestion, I think. We batted it around in our office and we would be glad to discuss hosting such a website (on our AS/400, of course). We collect a variety of tips/techniques that we could use to "prime the pump".
