I made a similar suggestion to Phil Joseph recently with respect to Integrator. In order for Integrator it to truly be viewed as a development tool it needs to have the ability to export/import code, and this would go naturally with a website that allowed users to share code & objects. We have done much with Integrator, but it is difficult to document & share what you've accomplished. I see it as evolving, so I am not critical of it, just impatient! Highjump (DCSI) has pretty good website for knowledge sharing, but it's lacking tips & examples for MAPICS. I have numerous documented examples (tutorials) for MAPICS, but no real or appropriate way to share them. We also use ASNA's AVR (Caviar) tool for development in conjunction with Integrator. ASNA has a pretty good website for sharing code & knowledge, it's what Integrator needs to strive for. Just some of my thoughts on the issue....... michael.ellis@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 05/30/2003 09:36 AM Please respond to MAPICS ERP System Discussion <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject Re: Website for MAPICS users Konrad made a great suggestion, I think. We batted it around in our office and we would be glad to discuss hosting such a website (on our AS/400, of course). We collect a variety of tips/techniques that we could use to "prime the pump".
