We are using the Paperless Powerbuilder application on the shop floor for T/A and data collection. We have a performance problem in the morning during the shop's clock-in period. We have about 15 PCs for about 100 employees to cock-in on and in the morning it takes from 45-60 seconds for the screens to respond. During the rest of the day, the response is fine. We recently upgraded to OS/400 V5R2 and are at the current service pack level. The problem was much worse until we also upgraded the Client Access piece on each machine to V5R2 and the latest service pack. Any suggestions? We are on MAPICS R6 4140, OS400 V5R2, PB 6.5.16, iSeries 820-2395.
