Here are the steps that I take to accomplish this with FTP:

1.) Creat a save file in QGPL on both systems. Let's call them savamf (It's
more convenient if they are the same name.)
2.) Save all objects in AMFLIB to the save file.
3.) Type > FTP on a command line.
4.) Type in the remote system (either the ip address or the name you have given
it in your host table)
5.) Log in
6.) Type > bin (this puts you in binary mode)
7.) Type > put qgpl/savamf
8.) On the system you sent the save file to, restore the objects from savamf to
AMFLIB.

Depending on the size of your library, this process can take a very long time.
(If interested, I have this process automated, so it can be scheduled off
hours.)
