Recently we have setup a Multi Lingual Mapics Environment on our AS400 for a
German company. I created a CLP that is the initial program in the user
profiles for the users who need to see this in German.
Using the CHGJOB and setting the DECFMT to J seems to solve the issue of ( comma for decimal) but for some reason the dates still show in MMDDYY format even though I specify *DMY. This only seems to be a problem on green screens.
The Browser seems fine as long as the PC has its locale set to German.
Does anyone know how to get around this? The AS400 is US based and the defaults need to stay in US format but for users entering from Germany need to see European formats.
