This may not be the appropriate forum, but I will attest to Dave Turbide's
knowledge and writing skills.   I've read his stuff, and also have used him
as a consultant (don't know if he still does that) very successfully!

   I have also authored a couple MAPICS books - "MAPICS Production Activity
   Control" and "MAPICS Planning". They are intended to teach users how to
   set up and use the production and planning applications respectively.
