We have a similar problem in that it back flushes by batch lot instead of
FIFO.  Have not found a fix yet.

We use FIFO inventory, allow negatives,  don't use default locations,
don't use WIP inventory locations, and don't use 1st available location.

The backflushing logic falls through and takes first available (by
location).
Then we have to adjust.

We can live with the negatives but in the right pot (or silo).

Why, if you say FIFO, doesn't FIFO rule?
