[ Converted text/html to text/plain ] Pending allocations are supposed to keep track of the materials required for manufacturing orders that have been entered (in batches) and not yet released. This is in support of the ability to check material availability in the order entry batch (B/M = NOW). When the orders are released, these become "real" allocations and the pending allocations are supposed to be removed. Could there be some MO entry batches sitting around in your system that have never been released? If the audit is recreating these pending allocations, I've got to believe there's something in the order entry batch file that's the source. Good luck. Dave Turbide dave@daveturbide.com Hi Group, I have a situation where an item shows a quantity of 8,469 for Pending Manufacturing Allocations on the IM Inquiry screens. There's no way we actually have that huge quantity allocated for this item. I can't see the detail that makes up that number anywhere. I've queried every file I can think of and can't find that qty for that item (nothing remotely close to that total). I zeroed out the PALOC field in ITEMBL and then ran the "Allocation Quantity Audit" on the IM File Maintenance menu. After the audit was done, the 8,469 is back in PALOC!! Help!! Does anyone know what file(s)/field(s) I need to query in order to find that Pending Allocation Qty? I've looked in MOMAST, MODATA, SLALLO, ORDATAM, ORDATAC, ORDATM(all members), ORDATC(all members), MBCDREP.
