Steve, You can also write your own selection program then call the MAPICS invoice reprint program as follows. All you have to do is pass the Co#/Invoice#/Invoice Seq#. Depending on your environment, you may have to fill in some of the parameters: Call 'AMBFMXFR' 90 EXT:Print invoi Parm *BLANK W0RTN 7 Parm WP0001 2 0 Company number Parm WP0002 6 0 Invoice number Parm WP0003 7 0 Invoice sequenc Parm *zeros WP0004 8 0 Sold to custome Parm '0' WP0005 1 Multi-order inv Parm *zeros WP0006 2 0 Company number Parm '0' WP0007 1 KBC installed Parm *blanks WP0008 10 Report name Parm *blanks WP0009 1 Internal header Parm *blanks WP0010 7 Quote/order num Parm *zeros WP0011 7 0 Shipment header Parm *zeros WP0012 2 0 Company number Nathan Quinones Custom Systems Corp 973-726-0202 x213 http://www.cussys.com |---------+----------------------------> | | sjones@hpproducts| | | .net | | | Sent by: | | | mapics-l-admin@mi| | | drange.com | | | | | | | | | 11/19/2002 03:26 | | | PM | | | Please respond to| | | mapics-l | | | | |---------+----------------------------> >------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: mapics-l@midrange.com | | cc: | | Subject: Re: Reprint Invoices | >------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Dale: Well the good news is I am not the one that has to enter all the "6", our poor Operator is doing it. She is not having any fun...... I was hoping there was a MAPICS command that I could enter & do them that way, but looks like the screen is the only option..... I've had to do that also, when the printer (running unsupervised) lunched an entire set of invoices, and the operator accidentally deleted them......... Better set aside 20-30 minutes - that many will NOT be fun. Incidentally, have you looked at an optical archiving solution? I have one (LaserVault from Electronic Storage Corp) that lets you do a subset, mark the range, and do a mass reprint. This sort of task would take you about 1 minute to set up, and then just let 'em print. I have all my invoices from 1996 on available on-line - subsecond access time. Good luck! (and don't miss a "6"....) Go into COM, Order Processing, Process Invoices, Review/Select Invoices for Reprint, F17 to subset, subset for the customer you are interested in, put a 6 in front of all invoices you want to reprint. The dates are on the screen. No one-step-date-range-select, but it isn't very time consuming to do. We can do it for a given customer on one specific date, but not a date range using the MAPICS reprint menu.
