Ron,

If that interactive session you are referring to is a MAPICS
interactive session, there is a JOBACT record and QTEMP stuff
associated with it. Does it actually submit the job and that
is what terminates or does it not even get that far? My guess would
be the outer procedure AMDP40 is what is terminating.

The other issue might be that MAPICS jobs know if they are batch
or interactive, it is one of the fields in JOBACT. You might have
to play around with defining a new task AMDP40X and giving it a
different definition in MAPICS to make it work ok.
