Philip, If you are stable on R5 and don't need anything in R6 I would stay with 5. Release 6 is not all that stable with a high fix rate and alot of issues out of the box, some documented some not documented. If you have any customizations at all I would carefully review R6 and R7 due to unintentional function changes and "enhancements" that cannot be turned off. Naturally the newer applications have a high change rate. As far as R7 goes, MAPICS only seems to be reporting crossovers from R6 so far. So if you do go to R7 you may be the first! Since they cross the R6 stuff up to R7, R7 may have alot of the same issues that R6 does now. Good luck in whatever choice you make :) Regards Konrad
