Philip, We are doing a similar conversion here from an older model. It really depends on the app mix. Some MAPICS apps are more highly interactive than others. The normal measure of required interactive is 3 * CPU % interactive. So if current jobs add up to 20% over a suitable timeframe 60 interactive should cover. They do have the caveat that faster processors will increase the cpu % for interactive since the available resources are more and therefore might kick in the CFINT limiter sooner. Net is if you are planning a migration to the client server MAPICS apps at the same time the 270 should be fine if the disk space meets your requirements. If you are sticking green screen with lots of interactive currently you may want to do more performance work and test the assumptions. Our current user count is about the same, if anything we have more sessions because of our 3 environments. Regards Konrad
