Konrad, We have been at release 6 since Feb 2001, and are not having any major problems (or are oblivious). What issues are you having with R6? We have not applied 3196, but when we apply a CUM CD we found that RPGLE programs were backleveled. So before we apply a CUM we DSPOBJD *ALL for AMALIB to an outfile. After applying the CD, DSPOBJD again to another file and compare the two files. Question any differences in PTF or APAR fields. Also level 26 of the Client for MAPICS Browser is not sending the unit (of unit/nature fame) from the requisition over to the PO and those are all having to be keyed in manually. So if you do lots of requisitions, wait for release 28 fix. Given the issues we are having with R6 after going live at PTF 2624 and knowing that MAPICS staffed down in this support area, has anyone applied 3196 yet? If you did apply it, are things worse or better? And are there any major gotchas?
