Iain, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... They don't even have offline loads to populate the po files initially.. So I am not aware of anyway. What are the odds that the PO's are in seq. because then you could do a copy file and do a range. If they are the last records in the files could do it by record # If you have a tech background and can write code. Create a file with one field the PO number. Key all the PO's into this file. write an RPG pgm with this file as input. do a call to a cl and pass po# as a parm. in the cl do a copy file on all the files with parm used in the increl section of the cpyf May want to try with one record in the work file or in a test env. Let me know if you have any questions.. Kind of fire-hosed you on this Pete Olshavsky Ind Mapics Analyst/Systems Analyst ----- Original Message ----- From: <IWilson@dundee.tokheim.com> To: <mapics-l@midrange.com> Sent: Monday, July 15, 2002 12:40 PM Subject: Restore Purchase Orders Not Invoiced From History To Live > Hello > > Can anyone tell me if it is possible to Restore Purchase Orders To Live > after they were archived in error ie (They were not invoiced) ? > > There does not appear to be a Mapics option and the thought of writing code > to restore the data does not appeal. > > Alternatively is there a piece of code avalaible to perform this process ? > > We have approx 200 PO's which have been archived in error (someone will get > their butts kicked) > > > > Best Regards > > > Iain > > Here is my disclaimer > > _______________________________________________ > This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MAPICS-L@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/mapics-l > or email: MAPICS-L-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l. > >
