David,

If you can not find a way of doing this with MAPICS, we have a product called
Presence that can do this, all automatically.  I'm with American Presence,
Inc. and Presence is a Certified Enterprise Solution with MAPICS.

When a new PO is created, Presence would kick off and grab the price that was
last paid, either from the last PO or from the Invoice, and place that price
into the field for the new price.

Let me know if you would like any additional information.
