Not experienced with the product, but that's the same company behind the
EASYCOM data engine for WINDEV, a cool multi-platform tool that one
of our facilities uses. We went with ASNA's tool, but that's another topic.
What seems really cool about Launcher/400 is since you incorporate
the steps in a CLP you can coordinate the print process so that the documents
print in sequence. I'm thinking for example: Print router from MAPICS, then
print dwg from PC, then work instructions, etc. With some wait states you
could better manage que times.
If you try it, be sure to share the results!

Subject: Printing Word or Excel at time of Shop Packet -
Launcher/400
We need to print a Setup Sheet at the time the shop packet is printed.
This will most likely be
stored in Word or Excel. Currently it is hard copy and the most current
version doesn't always
get to the press.
Has anyone used a product called Launcher/400 to do this?
