Not sure how you are doing the download, but make sure you have selected to
"convert CCSID 65535." This setting should be somewhere in your connection:
if you are using the Client Express "Data Transfer from the AS/400" utility,
it is under File, Properties, Conversions. I know it exists elsewhere (in
ODBC, OpNav, etc.). Otherwise, you will get "garbage" in the PC file. This
translates EBCDIC characters to ASCII characters.
