RE: Upgrade Issue

We should be on Release 6 (from 4) by the end of May.  We have about 8 add-ons, 
customizations, etc., which equate to about $10k of custom RPG work whenever 
going to a new release.  We don't have in-house programming staff, so we work 
with a MAPICS affiliate for changes. We don't use any of the browser stuff, so 
it should be fairly straightforward (optimist).  I'll let you know how it goes.

We moved from Rel 4 to Rel 6 in January this year - used internal resources
only (no custom code, so no need for programmers on site), with much reading
of e-Info and the gratious help of the resources of this list!

No plans to go to Release 7 until Heck freezes over, or Rel 8 is out and
MAPICS stops supporting Rel 6, whichever comes first!

Has anyone moved to REL 7 or have immediate plans to do so?

I am interested in the resources you consider necessary to move from
different releases of MAPICS. Do you migrate with internal resources? Do you
have programmers on site?  When did you move from REL 4 to REL 6?
