This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] As part of our program of continually enhancing our product, MAPICS, Inc. is delivering a series of enhancements, this happens to be one of the cool ones are working on now. The target completion date for this enhancement is the end of April. To quote from the informational PTF SH14371, "The MAPICS notes function will eliminate the need for OS/400 Office Vision. The existing note folders in OS/400 Office Vision will be converted to new AS/400 physical files. The text information in these note documents will be converted to members in the new files. The notes reorganization function will also be enhanced to remove old and/or obsolete notes. MAPICS will provide instructions for a one-time conversion of existing notes from OS/400 Office Vision to the new enhanced AS/400 database." Most of our enhancements documented in SH14371 will be for release 6 and higher, but this enhancement will be for release 5 and higher. I encourage you and others to look at SH14371 for other completed enhancements and enhancements in progress. Regards, John Navarre, CPIM Manager, Client Support MAPICS, Inc.
