Since the spool file is complete, it is probably a setting in the
printer. Check the configuration to make sure the paper width is set
properly. The check form is wider than 80 characters, so the printer
needs to be set to 132 character width.

Subject: Mapics payroll checks

We are attempting to use the Mapics spool file to print payroll checks
to a dot matrix printer. The problem we are having is the printed
document cuts off the last five characters. The spool file appears
complete when viewed. Mapics has been unable to offer a solution. Any
suggestions?
