I am using Custom Systems Enterprise Access System.....Have been for a few months. Sharing MAPICS orders, invoices, tracking shipments with links to UPS, FedEx, etc. Inventory checks and pricing lookups. Also, have been sharing data stored on the IFS. Our distributors, sales reps and managers are very happy so far.....and I have had nothing but good comments. Our internal customer service people use EAX rather than COM inquiries because they find it easier to use and straightforward. At this time we are not entering orders but I see it coming soon. I would believe we will be seeing Custom Systems expand into this area. Also, I must say, the cost was affordable. Definitely worth looking into. PS....I do not work for CSC. Is anyone out there using COM_Net for their eCommerce package? Why or why not? Are there alternatives that easily integrate into MAPICS for order entry and tracking? What are your experiences tying MAPICS to the web? Many thanks!
