I believe the file is TRNDTA.  You still have to use the "Select and Edit Transactions" and "Prepare Transactions" options to post them.

I am currently implementing the PM&C module.  We have a custom Timeclock
with captures time against work orders and creates daily PRTRAN files for
payroll.  Now I would like to feed PM&C and have it interface with payroll.

Any ideas as to what files in PM&C to populate (similar to an offline data
entry batch) will be greatly appreciated.  This is a temporary solution
until I can implement data collection terminals, but the concept is the
same, so if you know what files the DC terminals populate that would help.
