Futures forecasting

Does anyone out there use a third party product that feeds back into MAPICS that
does Futures Forecasting?

We are currently on 5.5, and its forecasting model is based on past sales
history.  (not very helpful when your market niche calls for constant new
product releases!)

We will be migrating to 6.0 when we are sure all of the dust has settled.
