Can anyone tell me exactly where the beginning balances are coming from for the
Preliminary General Ledger?   Also, what is the impact if the controller did not
close the period or year and the periods rolled over?  Do the beginning balances
accumulate?  Example:  August thru December 99 not closed and now the current
period is August /00.   Will the August/00 bucket in GELMAS be summary of August
99 and August 00?
