For reducing the impact of conflicts, we have a program that checks (once a
minute) the QSYSOPR message queue and responds with the "reschedule in jobq"
option for any MAPICS conflict.

Since, for us, most conflicts are fairly short duration, this has virtually
eliminated any human intervention necessary to keep the job queues running.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the
possible procedure conflicts in Mapics? I can't seem
to find a description of these on the Mapics CD.
Obviously, the conflict file has the procedure names
but it doesn't give me description of the task that is
being performed.

Also, what is your method for reducing conflicts?

Thanks
