I have implemented IP print of acknowledgements using a Hewlett Packard HP5si and also a Hewlett Packard LJ4000N. The "production" acknowledgements print on the 5si, which i created a workstation customizing object for. Also I spool all of our IP printing through our NT servers because I ran into problems where print jobs from the AS/400 and NT print jobs would "collide" and hang the printer. The trickiest part of the project was getting the IP print to "line up" on the pre-printed form. I eventually created a printer overlay and used that to print the acknowledgement. Any further questions feel free to inquire. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------ Michael Huber Applications Development and AS/400 Operations Microsoft Certified Professional US Filter - Plymouth Products, Inc. I have setup several IP printers in the past (all HP) for other companies. The problem I have frequently run into is that for IP printing versus twinax somehow changes the CPI setting (at least on HP's). Now I have tried using work station customization object with mixed results. Has anyone successfully used IP printing to print acknowledgments and AP checks? What type of hardware have you done this with? Did it require any special programming considerations for the IP printer definition? Thanks to anyone who can help me.
