itembl is the correct file,
in fact the fields are:

USEMO Quantity used this period
QTSYR Quantity sold year-to-date
AMSMO Item sales amount period to date
AMSYR Item sales amount year-to-date
CAMMO Item cost amount period to date
CAMYR Item cost amount year-to-date
CSTMO Usage cost period-to-date
CSTYR Usage cost year-to-date
EAANU Estimated annual usage
AVMEB Average period end balance
AVSAL Average sales per period
SHPLP Shipments last period
RECLP Receipts last period

but this will only be accurate if you are, on a monthly basis going to
AMIM60
and running option 1. Period End / Year End Close to flush the periods and
maintain YTD integrity.

Subject: Queries
Date: Tue, 2 May 2000 10:30:13 -0400

Question about a query. We want to count certain types of sales and have
set up the "Accounting Class" in Item Master and want to total each "Class"
of sales. Can somebody tell me which file I can query that will have the
total sales of each "Class" at the end of each month. We picked that field
since it was not being used for anything else.

Any help is appreciated. Our programmer left us (He had the query working
where all we had to do was change the date range each month - but there
seems to be a problem this month) and our new guy is still learning Mapics
(He knows the AS400) - so he is not much help right now with queries.

Thanks-----
