Forward by moderator for Vanessa King: --------------------------------------- Taxes are no longer in CAS when you get IFM. You have a bit more flexibility with IFM also. There are numerous ways to set up taxes & it depends upon your taxing complexities. Have you talked with Progressive Systems (Mapics affiliate) in Greenwood, SC about this? They do a very good job of helping set up sales taxes with IFM. I have been given different stories about sales tax in IFM. The first is to set up Tax States, Counties, and Cities in the Entity and use the Tax Results to get taxes. I was also told that this method slows down COM. The other I was told to use was Tax Suffix, but this is only a 5 char field. Some of our sister companies enter it as a special charge on an invoice, but that is unacceptible for us. How do you invoice and bill sales tax?
