I know when we converted to BPCS from MAPICS there was conversion software available ... not good stuff, but better than nothing. I do not believe that converting work-in-process is a healthy approach ... move your inventory & master files & regenerate MRP & get new orders because the structure of the orders will probably be quite different ... of course your volume might be different ... we create & purge thousands of manufacturing orders every week. The only orders we convert are customer orders because all other kinds are driven off those requirements & even they needed some tinkering due to structural differences ... but most of our tinkering was due to the handling of multiple facilities multiple warehouses etc. Al Macintyre ©¿© http://www.cen-elec.com MIS Manager Programmer & Computer Janitor When in doubt, read the manual, assuming you can find the right one. +--- | This is the MAPICS Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MAPICS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAPICS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dshaw@spartan.com +---
