Hi all,
Well, I am convincing myself that I need/want to upgrade to 8GB of memory on
my Macbook Pro. Believe it or not, with all the apps I leave running, I am
consistently sitting in the 3.8GB memory used area and that is causing some of
the "memory reckless" Java apps (SquirrelSQL) to have issues for large result
sets.
In doing my homework it appears I was right to wait. Memory has already gone
down about $100 from when I last checked!
Here is the best price I have found (RamJet) and I wanted to know if others
have had good or bad experiences with this vendor?
http://www.macmemory.com/ItemDescription.asp?Item=MBP8G ; ($339 for 8GB kit)
Others have said Crucial was a good brand also, but they seem to be about $50
to $75 more.
