Hi Josh,

TN5250 doesn't automatically append anything to the device name.   Either you are using a different software (rather than our TN5250) or you have a program on the IBM i (perhaps a Telnet Device Initialization Exit Program)  that is adjusting the device name.

I would like it to always try to connect to the same session number and either fail or close the other instance if it is unable to.
