That does everything I did except the declaration of the type of the
argument to getTelOpt.  The implicit type works fine here.

remember the status of the code there.  I don't think I have the

to post anything there anymore.  Send your patch to this mailing
list in 
unified diff format and let's take a look at it.
 
I still have access to the Sourceforge project. They've turned off
most
of their CVS support, though.

<https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/documentation/Git/> says they offer
git.  I do not see any suggestion that they will help to migrate
history from cvs, though.
