Are you using xt5250 (tn5250 for unix)? Under Ubuntu, my xt5250 installation correctly interprets F10 and F11. Looking at the key mapping in /usr/share/tn5250, I don't think that I changed any of the default mappings.

Which Linux variant are you using? I seem to remember some F10/F11 issues under Redhat, but cannot be sure.
