Hi, we're using the x5250 emulator by James Rich.

One of our clients is complaining about no longer having the "End" key.

It's key function is: Erase End Of Field
Virtual Key Name: AS_ERASEEOF

I don't see an ability to map this key anywhere in x5250, does support need
to be added to the software or what could I do to get it working?

Erase end of field sounds an awful lot like what field exit does (erases everything in the field to the right of the current cursor position and goes to the next field). Field exit is, by default, mapped to the 10-key enter key. Is that what you need?

if you want to understand why that is, there are many good books on
the design of operating systems. please pass them along to redmond
when you're done reading them :)
