What OS and parameters are you using?

Is the printer local or a network printer?

Subject: [LINUX5250] lp5250d dies when a printjob starts

Hi

i work with tn5250 and lp5250d for years. -All the time without big problems.
But now lp5250d refuses to work. i didnt change any configuration.
When I do a trace, the trace is always 1502B small.

The problem is that lp5250d dies when the as400 starts prnting. If I
dont print, the deamon is fine.

Can anyone help me to pin the error. We cant print now for one week,
and there is al lot to print.

Thank you for your help

Chris

The config:

print-30 {
host= 192.168.0.10
map= 273
env.DEVNAME= D30
outputcommand= scs2pdf >> /tmp/as400pdf/d30-$$.pdf
}

The trace looks like this:
