Hello everyone,

I understand that tn5250 is able to create and execute macros. But from what I have read you have to manually start the macro. I'm wondering if there is a way to have the macro autoexecuted.

Let me explain why/what I'm looking for.

Currently I have a windows based system setup with as/400 Client Access GUI to auto execute every 30 minutes and run a macro on our as/400. Obviously this isn't a stable solution as it's a standard windows desktop system. I have installed the tn5250 software on a Linux based system that has access to the as/400 and is the actual server that uses the information from the as/400.

In short,
I'm looking for a software that can auto execute a macro via command-line interface.
Is tn5250 capable of doing this?

If so would you be able to point me in the direction of some documentation on this, or an alternate software.

Thank you very much for all your time. If you need additional information please let me know.

- Jason B
