Hello everyone,

My restructuring changes (as discussed in http://archive.midrange.com/linux5250/200511/msg00000.html and http://archive.midrange.com/linux5250/200601/msg00002.html) are ready to be committed to cvs. No one has raised any objections, so my current plan is to start committing the changes this weekend. The biggest problem is moving the source files in cvs without losing their revision history. AFAIK there isn't a 'move' command in cvs, so the only option I see is to delete and re-add the files in their new places. But doing so will make it impossible to compare files changes before and after the move (other than doing a manual diff). Any suggestions?

As I mentioned, my plan is to start committing these changes this weekend. If no one has any complaints then I'll just delete and re-add the files.

I have a tarball of tn5250 that has all the source restructuring changes:

http://www.chowhouse.com/~james/x5250/tn5250-0.17.4.tar.gz

As well, I have a pre-release of x5250 that fixes a number of problems such as window size, unhandled events, and hopefully type-ahead. If you have any problems with x5250 using all the CPU or getting out of sync or with type ahead please try out this pre-release and let me know if it fixes it. The tarball is at:
