Be sure that your desktop environment (KDE) doesn't have any function keys mapped to something already.
my Question here is "what combination key I needtopress to execute F13 key, F14 ...., F24" )In most cases, it's Shift-F1 for F13, Shift-F2 for F14, etc. But, if you're having problems with that, I'll need to know which front-end to TN5250 you're using to help you further. Are you running this in X11, or are you running it from the (text-only) console? If you're running it from X11, are you using tn5250, xt5250, x5250 or gtk-5250?
If you have disabled any function key mappings in your desktop environment like you should and things still don't work, I suggest trying to use x5250. Changing the key mapping in x5250 is much simpler than it is for tn5250. Please visit the x5250 website for more info on downloading and installing it:
