Has anyone compiled tn5250 for SCO 5.04?

Not that I'm aware of (other than you). But with SCO's open source packages (skunkware I think?) it should be quite possible.

I have downloaded the source for tn5250-0.17.3. Made
sure i have installed automake, autoconf, libtool and
ncurses

I make the executables and when I run tn5250 I get the
following error message: getpwuid: Invalid argument

How could I resolve this?

Perhaps the first page of the man page for getpwuid would be helpful. Apparently SCO has a non standard getpwuid() function.

It's not the software that's free; it's you.
