How long ago did you download the tarball? I've worked out quite a few bugs in this code recently. I fixed some segfaults and made the support more complete. It now works well for me and Martin Rowe (the only other person I know of who has tested this code). On May 17 I put a new test tarball up that will most likely become x5250-0.5.1 at:

If your tarball is older than this please download again. You may also want to look at the new keymap README file that will be included with version 0.5.1 at:

Please let me know if this doesn't fix your problem. I want to get this right before releasing (hopefully this weekend).
